Stopped in on the way from Arizona to Atchison. The coffee was great, but the breakfast sandwiches were even better. Our companions (who were afraid to try the local flavor) stopped at McD.... poor choice, when we showed up with our find, they were jealous. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, especially the foreign currency in the coffee table!

If you are in need of a caffeine jolt, Cup of JoNes is the place to go! Great menu full of a variety of coffee drinks, plus food too. During my brief stay in Dodge City, I popped in twice for a morning coffee drink and returned on my last day for lunch too. I ordered a cup of soup and a half sandwich. The lobster bisque was amazing, and totally made up for the slightly lacking Venetian sandwich whose flavors didn't float my boat. Another huge plus - fee wifi! I was able to bring my computer in and get some work done while I ate. The staff is incredibly friendly, and when I told them I was doing some work near Greensburg they recommended a great coffee shop there too - always nice to see someone promoting another similar business! I don't think I have any work in the Dodge City area again, but if I do - I'll certainly be back!

Cup of Jo-Nes is great. The atmosphere is warm with local art on the walls. It definitely transports you out of Dodge (which is a good thing) .. the food is really great, especially the soups. In my opinion their portions are a little small.. but hey, it's probably a good thing for the waistline! HA

Walking into what obviously once was a house, we felt instantly comfortable in Cup of Jo-Nes dining room. Everything sounded great, but I decided on the chicken salad sandwich and my boyfriend got the chicken Caesar salad. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The watermelon lemonade is out of this world good and refreshing without being super sweet or citric. The food was fresh and well prepared. We left happy and full, but not I'm-gonna-throw-up-unhealthy-full, which was a nice change of pace.

We stopped in here specifically due to the yelp deal and I am very happy we did! This was a quick budget trip to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and this deal helped us eat a great meal while saving money. I printed the offer and gave it to the clerk before we ordered and there were no issues at all. My husband ordered the spicy blt and a drink; I ordered a chicken salad and a brewed tea with coconut added. We were very happy with our food, the service, and the atmosphere.

Service was excellent. Italian sodas were delicious. Roasted pepper soup was so good we ordered another one. Nice ambiance.

I am giving this place two stars because the atmosphere is not bad and it is the only place that I know of in Dodge City to get a latte. Otherwise it would get one star. DAY 1 Yelp has a deal posted to buy a $20 voucher for $10 bucks which I did. I go in there and order a tea, latte, bagel and cinnamon roll and the total is like $12.47. I show them the voucher on my phone and neither girl there has any idea what the heck I am talking about nor what to do. So after some awkward silence she takes a picture of my voucher on the phone and gives me the order. So basically I am out $7.53. The cinnamon roll which could feed a family of 3 has so much frosting on it, it is a soggy gross mess. GF's tea and bagel are acceptable. Latte is OK. DAY 2 Go back and forget Day 1. Order 2 plain bagels, a latte and tea. Have only 1 plain bagel so I get it with butter on the side as who knows what this will look like after the cinnamon roll. Bagel comes and the butter looks like margarine that has went bad and has not taste so I don't think it was actually butter. Latte was too hot to drink for 15 minutes. WI-FI did not work on DAY 2. This place would have potential if the workers spent a few days in a Starbucks getting some basic training and the food wasn't terrible. Longest review I have ever written but really disappointed. Breakfast should almost be foolproof.

I am giving this facility one star because of service. Specifically I visited their drive through 8-10-2015, arriving at 3:45. I spent 15 minutes behind an SUV who, when their order was passed through the window had a single beverage. It was 3:59 when I was told, "sorry we already closed". All this while the "open" sign was on brightly lit in the blistering sun. I questioned the closing several times, stating I had been hostage of the drive thru & was told flatly they had "already" closed @ 3:59. A cup of BS.

Was driving through town and got a latte for the road. It was about a ten minute wait (with literally an empty drive thru) and the drink tasted terrible. I could have had better at a gas station.

I was staying for a couple days and I'm not a big fan of the hotel coffee. So I gave this place a shot. The drive through lady looked like a meth addict, so maybe I was fortunate to only get bad coffee. I simply asked for a dark roast coffee. It cost me $3.50 for something that resembled lukewarm Folgers. I tossed it went back to the hotel coffee.

Highly recommend! I had the ponda special ...bacon/chicken/alfalfa sprouts/avocado on toasted wheat, hubby had ruby special wrap... Has a southwest kick to it.. Good cup of coffee too :)

Not sure about the breakfasts. Here for a couple days on travel. The caramel macchiato was bad. The baristas were ho-hum, not very friendly. Overall, I give it a 'meh'.

Passing through Dodge City (birthplace of Dennis Hopper) The barista at Cup of Jo-Nes pulls a delicious, full bodied Americano..I'm so thankful for a great cup of coffee and friendly service this fine morning.

We stopped here this morning and were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered a sandwich and muffin. The breakfast sandwich on a flaky croissant was amazing! They have some kind of yummy dressing that was on the sandwich. And..... The MUFFIN!!!! It was a double chocolate, warm and gooey. Of course we had coffee!

cute atmosphere, however with children running the place and having their friends in the back its hard to take seriously

5 stars for ambience and friendly staff. One star for the food. We prefer frequenting independents but the food quality would have been better across the street at the Burger King. The coffee and expresso drinks are better at McDonalds. The sign above the door says it's the only place like this for a long way around. So true, just don't get your hopes up if you're looking for coffee or food.

Cup of Jo-Nes is my go-to coffee place when I'm in Dodge City, Kansas! It's a neat treasure---the atmosphere is unique and very welcoming, the staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is great, and the coffee is by far the best in town! Definitely worth stopping by!

Awesome homemade cinnamon rolls served with fresh fruit!! The coffee is good with a big selection of add in flavors but nearly as expensive as Starbucks... I'm a picky eater but I have yet to try a soup here that I didn't like. The tomato basil is my favorite so far. Cup of Jo-Nes is a quiet, comfortable place to meet for breakfast or lunch. The baristas are attentive, friendly and will bring your food to your table. Always a delightful experience!

Cup of Jo-nes is an awesome find while I was in Dodge City for business. The coffee is great, tasty breakfast items, wonderful place to work, and the baristas are friendly and helpful. I will come back again while I'm here this week, and look forward to any return visits to Dodge.

We just swung by there on our way through town last december while moving to chicago and so glad we did! The staff was really helpful and really nice! We ordered the veggie quiche and cinnamon roll and they were both delicious! Just amazing. The coffee is great there too! Would definitely come back if we drive thru town again!

Great place to grab a nice salad, soup, or sandwich. Not to mention excellent coffee. Skip your chain coffee and stop here, it's great. If you've ever been to a St. Louis Bread Co./Panera or Atlanta Bread Company, you'll feel right at home with the menu. However, what the chains lack, this place has in abundance. Excellent, friendly service and quite possibly the most comfortable dining area I've visited in a long time. The business is literally a home converted to a restaurant. It's very comfortable and very inviting inside. Also, the WiFi is free, and snappy!

I stopped by for lunch late Thursday morning and had a great time. They had a nice selection of soups and sandwiches with my americano. Both the food and coffee were delicious. Shortly before noon, a guy walked in with a guitar and started playing/singing. Apparently, this musician from Seattle, stops in on a semi-regular basis and plays before getting back to his day job driving trucks across the country. Short story: food and coffee great. Live music an added bonus.

My guess is that Cup of Jo-Nes must be the best place to eat in Dodge City, Kansas. Lovely atmosphere with lots of fun, local art, good coffee, sweet staff, and they even made me a delicious veggie wrap when I told them I was looking for a veggie option on their menu. A little oasis along the dusty drive. :)

A house surely built in the teens or 20's, beautifully maintained and converted into a fantastic coffee/sandwich/salad/smoothie shop. My 3 kids and I stopped for lunch on a road trip. Couldn't have been happier with the good food (we had sandwiches...and they were just like what we'd make at home with green lettuce and good ingredients), good service, very pleasant atmosphere. If it were in a bigger city, I'd give it a 4. But, because it is a stand-out in a small town, I give it a 5.
